Bad Days...
I got my First Pay Cheque in america Yesterday, I was really Happy & wanted to go celebrate by eatting out with Derek Today but we're not going to anymore. INSTEAD i am leaving him & Yes, it means we're breaking up. We have not been getting along very well, Surprise to you but it's not really a surprise to US (that our relationship is falling apart), maybe i'll update more about US in my next Post.

First and foremost, congratulations on getting you rfirst pay cheque. It must be very exciting for you...considering that you've been in the States for quite a while now.
Moving forward, regarding your relationship w Derek, I think you just need to make a decision (rationally of course) and commit to it.
Decisions made immediately after a quarrel generally are laced with anger so you need to sit down and calmly think of what you want to do on a good day.
Your decision should be one that you make yourself and not influenced by someone else or something that happened.
Relationship-wise, you should stay together because you enjoy your partner's company, not because you feel obligated or sorry for him. If during a calm moment, you find that you care for nothing for his company, then i think it would be fair to both of you to move on.
Good advice, i think that applies to me so very much... im still struggling.
